Hi Folks,
My 2001 31 TE with twin yanmars lists a little bit to starboard when at rest. My black water tank is stbd, but I still list when it's empty. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Why do I list to starboard
My water tank is pretty much centerline under the aft bunk, right between the stringers. Waste is aft stbd.

My 28 flush deck lists a tiny bit to starboard. You can't tell by looking at it, but the starboard side gutter always has 2x the amount of debris,

Re: Why do I list to starboard
I relocated my battery located under the helm seat to the centerline in a new battery box. Problem solved

Re: Why do I list to starboard
I have the exact same situation with an identical boat. Even with the weight of the generator on the port side, I have the same list regardless of black water tank holdings.

Re: Why do I list to starboard
I have figured out how to manage it effectively on the 31. We have 3 tanks across the aft of the boat. When fueling, I shut my port side tank and leave it be. I bring the middle and starboard tanks to 3/4 & then I top off the port side with fuel. At the end of the weekend, I open the valve until it's sitting level and close it. Before I roll over to the fuel dock I open them all up to let it mix so I am always adding fresh fuel at fill up time. It isn't as big of a pain as it sounds and it sure beats adding weight to the port side.
