It seems that a crack has opened in the rudder of my TE28 (Yr. 2002). The diver said he could see through it. Big question...can that be welded? Failing that, where to go to get a new rudder???

Never heard of a rudder cracking but I assume that it's made from nickel aluminium bronze? If so a prop shop should be able to repair it. Otherwise it looks like a new purchase from that link Russ posted.

And if those approaches don't work out, there is a foundry in Mystic, Ct near the marina I am at that casts in the various bronzes that could use your cracked rudder as a mold.
