Fluke opened May 1st but this was my first chance to get out.
Fished the afternoon drifting the outskirts of the Moriches Reef.
One short fluke, quite a few decent seabass (out of season
) including a would be keeper double header, and a couple dogfish and skate mixed in too.No keepers but a beautiful ocean as you can see and it was good to get a little blood on the deck..
