Hi Pat, and welcome!

There isn't an owners manual available for any Albin...

However, I see you're a "supporting member" which means you have access to the document library. That's the closest you're going to get! Albin was just a bit lax in this area.

If you have specific questions post away and I'm sure we can help you out.

Thanks Doug for the information. This all makes sense now because I have a file full of individual manuals for everything the previous owner has puchased for the boat...but not one for the boat itself. I'll make good use of the library. Thanks again! Pat

It is unfortunate that boat manufacturers don't generally supply manuals. Even those I have received for other boats I have owned aren't very helpful since they are generic to all of the manufacturer's models. I agree that your first step is to gain access to the document library. The Technical Bulletin is especially helpful. Denise and I have created two notebooks with information on all of the various components on the boat. Since Albin appears to have used a variety of manufacturers, this might be the best approach for you. The notebooks contain information from the document library and all of the manuals for the boat's equipment (e.g., engine, bowthruster, windlass, bilge pumps, refrigerator, freshwater pump, steering, head, etc.). If you do this, you'll have documentation that far exceeds any owner's manual.

I am in desperate need of owners manual
type information which you have said you have in notebook form. Do need to request it piecemeal or can you just provide the whole ball of wax.

Hi Kelly -- there were never any owner's manuals from Albin. The most anyone received was a packet or notebook of manuals for all the components, e.g. head, water pump, bow thruster, refrigerator, etc.

There were owners manuals for some of the early Swedish made Albins.

I think it was after the name was sold to the American company that things went lax.

I guess I will just mettle along.
Haven't really had a chance to put it in the water. Not sure what switches to thro to light up the ignition etc.
Gotmanuals for everyother fricken thing

I got a 2001 Albin 28' over the winter, and made the donation to the group, and am trying to find where on the website the documents, which come closest to an owners manual lie, can you help in directing me?
