Hi all.
When the MD3B in my Albin 25 (1975) has been running for about 1 hour the low oil pressure lamp lights up when I get below 800 rpm. When the engine is newly started it no problem and I can rev it down to 100-200 rpm with no problem.
Is this a common problem on a engine as old as mine? Any suggestions for a solution?

Re: Oil pressure dropping..
Get a real oil pressure gage and find out what the pressure really is. Then check to the specification for your engine.
Sending units can go bad.
That said it is not unusual for oil pressure to drop at idle rpm when the engine is hot.
