6LP turbo boost alarm

Post by REBMystic »

Hi folks. This winter I took off all my HX for cleaning. I've got everything back on and my STBD engine shows a "turbo boost" alarm indicator light when I turn the ignition one click. It stays on when I start the engine. My port engine does not have this issue. Also I did not have this at end of last season. I expect I disturbed some wiring or connector during my HX maintenance. Does anyone know where the sensor is or the wiring?

Thx for your help!

FYI - I found my error. A sensor I thought was low oil was actually the turbo boost sensor. and I tried to replace with 3rd party and i got alarm. eg - I know (or not know) enough to get myself into trouble.
