Oil Leak - seam of oil pan

Post by Mike Monte »

I just discovered a small leak at the seam of the oil pan
on my 28TE's Yanmar 6LP.

Any short term solutions so that I can finish the season???

Looks like that pan is in rough shape from what I see there. I hate to say this but I’m not sure I would want to risk it. If it becomes bigger under way you won’t have an engine to fix anymore
