I have a slight leak around the seal of my raw water pump and plan on removing and sending off for repair. Other posts recommended Depco Pumps.
Beyond shutting off pump inlet, removing belt and bolts, are there any other considerations or potential complications on removing and reinstalling?
I’ve worked on two other types of marine diesels, one had timing belt considerations, hence the question. I’m not near the boat and recovering from a surgery so trying to decide if I do this or pay a mechanic to pull and reinstall.
Thanks in advance.
