"Optional" 12V & AC "factory" wiring

Post by swhfire21 »

I'm getting ready to trace out the eletrical systems so that I know how they are configured, but before I do I thought it might be simpler to check if anyone has already done some of this and if it was factory or owner installed. The diagrams in the library do not reflect what I see in my 2004 28 TE.

There are two shore connections, I know one is 30A but have not checked the other one yet (prev. owner was not using it). Is the 2nd connection dedicated to the air conditioner?

Did albin provide postive and ground bus bars, if so where are they? I've not pulled the 12V panels to look behind them yet.

I have an independent starting battery with an on-off master switch (factory or PO?) If factory, I'm assuming that only the Albin engine panel is powered from this switch and that eveything else is off of the house bank?

The house bank (two large batteries, D4 maybe) has a main switch (1-both-2-off) with multiple things on the postive terminal of each battery. I'm assuming these are bilge, charger, and alternator connections although most of it is pretty heavy wire gauge (no. 10 & larger). Is this factory and does anyone have a diagram. All of this wire is bundled together and heavy as noted before, so it’s a little hard to visually trace.

Thanks,
Stephen
