Beuchler 70 gallon aluminum fuel tank pickup tube hidden screen

Post by Agassiz- Albin »

For anyone with this 70 gallon aluminum tank in their Albin27, know that the fuel pick up tube in the tank may have a screen "inside the tube". It has been clogging up, causing fuel delivery problems and power loss. There was no sediment in my racor to indicate dirt because the "in tube screen" stopped it Time to clean the tank and remove that screen.

Someone had a great idea - let's restrict the sediment/dirt from getting out of the tank and to the filter where it belongs !
