Our 1996 32 is about due. Haulout will be early Sep & launch will likely be June 2009.
We have had the boat since 12/99 & have overnighted 30-40 nights per year since. It is time for new cabin upholstery & replacement of faucets etc. We are also planning on hauling the engine out, replaceing all hoses & gaskets & giving it a paintjob.
My biggest grumble about the 32 is the lack of engine access. This is largly due to the two 130 gal fuel tanks on either side. This gives the 32 a huge cruising range but it is not needed at all here in Bermuda. The aluminium tanks are showing their age so the plan is to install new smaller tanks. While I am at it I'll repaint the whole engine compartment & replace all bilge pump hoses etc.
Big job. In a sick sort of way I am sort of looking forward to it. Don't know what the costs will be. I am the labour. Very rough 'guestimate' is around $20K. Big savings is that there will be no storage fees however the haulout/trailer costs each way are about $600.

Next year will be the first since 1982 that we will not be doing overnight boating. We should rough through it though. Mid April to late July we are planing a MD to AK trip.
