Previous boats had Perkins and Westerbeke engines.
Used Shell Rotella, great oil.
Never had a turbo diesel.
Do you guys use Synthertic or some Yanmar oil, or just generic multi-grade?
Also, is the Racor Filters the 500s, or a bigger size?
Anybody using the vacuum gauge for filter changes, or straight 100 hrs?

2001 28TE, 6LP-STE, 1,337 hrs, 19X18 four-blade wheel.
