i was filling the bucket with fresh water and adding a little 'saltaway".
then it occurs to me, 'what the heck do i need the bucket for?'.
...
so now i'm thinking i can just shut off the bilge pumps and the sea cock and squirt some fresh water into the bilge and just let the engine suck the water out of the bilge.
