The latest pic does not show the anchor pulled fully aft. See earlier pics. It also seems from earlier posts that he does in fact tie that sucker down. Like DA suggests, one flying anchor can ruin a perfectly fine day. From personal experience, I can say that hooking the bow roller is not enough to hold it in place. I would have thought that my own gravity would hold me firmly in the passenger seat. One puny wave put me right on the floor when I wasn't looking. G-forces at six knots?! Whodathunkit?

Ok I looked back and saw that, does the anchor hit the bow crossbar when launching? Dunno where I saw it but there was an Albin with the crossbar split in two and dropped down to the deck or bow sprit, looked logical if your anchor hits the bar. One can pick up 1" fittings at most chandleries and make up what you want.
